Make Realistic Deals With Yourself on Tough Days

On days when you don’t feel like doing much, make little deals with yourself that you are going to accomplish at least one thing you can.

For example, if you don’t feel well enough to leave the house, errands are going to go undone, things aren’t going to get attended to, and mentally, you are going to suffer because of it. Guilt sets in, feelings of unworthiness, and all of that come into play.

But if you are able to accomplish one little thing, it makes you feel somewhat productive which has a domino effect. It sometimes can actually motivate you to push through and do another small task and so on.

Making you feel even better!

This all depends on your health status. I completely get that.

It is something that has worked for me so I wanted to pass it along.

Btw, when I say “small” tasks, I really do mean baby ones at points.
Heck the other day I gave myself credit for washing my hair 😉
