    I look at these photos and see a great smile, beautiful face and recognizable shorts…(lol)…oh yeah…that thing on your stomach…forgot about that…such a minuscule part of what I see..and I’m sure that’s true for others too…you are amazing…how far you have come!     Your surgery scars are so small!! Back forty-two years ago when my colon was removed and the stoma and ileostomy happened my cut went from my chest, almost to my breasts to my pubic bone- almost the length of my body from my chest. And, huge stitches with their own signposts! We’ve come a long way. Good luck with it all.

      This was years ago and one scar is 8inches down my abdomen and was re opened 14 times. Not exaggerating. The other “small” scars were from my numerous ileostomies, drains, and other surgeries. But yes, we’ve come a long way. Lots do it laparoscopically now :)
