Will Be Guest Blogging

I wanted to let you guys know that I am going to be guest blogging once a month for The Crohn’s Colitis Effect.

This is the organization that puts on the The IBD Round Table Discussions, for those of you who have heard of that. The founder is Frank Garufi Jr., the caregiver for his nine year old son Domenic, who was born with Crohn’s disease.

The posts will be my words, the topics will be of my choosing and I will see any edits prior to it being published. Point being, the posts that I am going to write there are the same as if I was going to write here. In fact, the one that is going to be published on Wednesday was written a long time ago, for this blog. I just think it is great to be able to work with people who you see eye to eye with in terms of advocating. We all know we can get a lot more done if we work together; the key is who you are working with. While I don’t know any of the other bloggers very well at all, I know I will through their work.

I am honored to be writing for The Crohn’s Colitis Effect because I greatly respect Frank, I am one hundred percent on board with their mission statement, and know that this is an organization that will continue to do great things for the Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis community. I hope to do more projects that include the involvement of other health activists and passionate inflammatory bowel disease patients/caregivers in the future.

Every month, I will be posting something short on here letting you know I posted something else. If you get a chance, check it out : ) And if you have even more time, snoop around the http://cceffect.org website and let Frank know what you think!

That’s great! Do you accept guest bloggers on your blog? I am always looking for ways to help and better support the ostomy community through education on medical supplies, caregiving, etc. Thanks!

Hi Su-Lauren! I soo appreciate you taking the time to read and comment. I usually don’t have guest bloggers. I’d be open to someone sharing their story but I try to keep my blog mostly my work;esp given I write so much :))
