Every Little Tip Helps: Pill Containers

Hi everyone! I recently starting getting into a different routine with my med/vitamin regime and thought I would pass it along to all of you.

As I wrote here, I am a big believer in the power of vitamins/supplements. (Thank you, Mom! <3 )

I am not very consistent with taking my vitamins though. It comes in phases. I could go months never missing a day but then for some reason all of a sudden it would seem like a bother to take them (yeah, I know it doesn’t make any sense) so I would take a little break. Granted, these are only vitamins so the inconsistency isn’t the end of the world (like going on and off prednisone) but it is still something to be diligent about.

I found this at CVS to help me remember to take whatever I need to every single day.

This is the biggest one I could find in order to accommodate all of the vitamins/meds I have to take each day. {Thankfully, most are vitamins.}

This has been working out really well for me so far. I haven’t missed a day since I got it and I make sure everything is set for the week. Or, at the very least, the next day so I don’t have to think about it while the day is in motion.

I really recommend getting yourself one of these pill containers if you are a person who needs to take a lot of medications and/or vitamins every day. It is a really good reminder and they are inexpensive which is always a huge plus.

I bought two of these for $10 on sale at CVS.

Reminder: There is a section (although small right now) on my blog called “Every Little Tip Helps.” This can be ANYTHING related to IBD…or even tied to Crohns/ulcerative colitis somehow (ex, social life, relationships, mental health, eating, exercising, friends, family) The more people write in, the more we can help other IBD patients and caregivers (whose thoughts/tips are also very welcomed here!) It can be very short (paragraph or so) or fairly lengthly. Doesn’t matter!

The posts we have in this section already include:
